Discharged on Saturday so no opportunity to see a physiotherapist in spite of this being recommend by 3 doctors.
Positive- all staff very caring but a special "mention in dispatches" for Kat, she lights up the room with lovely humor and is also very caring. She made the whole bay laugh and brought much needed cheer.
The staff are fantastic! Especially Lidia. The only thing is sometimes you have a long wait for meals etc, no one's fault too many patients for staff maybe.
Absolutely everything, the whole ward based experience was second to none with a good and pleasant mix of staff from many interesting places.
What improved? Oh, OK maybe just the bit on the back of this forum, about ethnic groups.
All the staff were friendly and helpful especially Odette and Daisy but everyone who came to the ward, cleaners, tea trolley people were cheerful and willing to help.
The ward was quiet and airy and always clean and tidy.
My care was excellent and the equipment provided for my use also excellent. I did not like the hot atmosphere, the overhead lights and the noise. I can't see how these can be changed.
Care excellent by nurses and ward staff, Two consultants excellent, D N E other I found abrupt. But never the less excellent care.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Always clean, quiet and caring to stay.
Nothing needs improving.
